b&w

Here are some photos from a new B&W collection, focusing on shadows, different illusions, double exposures, and conceptual ideas. I'm in the process of thinking of ideas for the photos, and I'm not sure if I'm going to stick with portraits or dabble into other things as well. I've been really inspired by Picasso's double exposures lately, so I may play around with that and some grain for a few Halloween-esque photos.

I went home last week and did not (whaaat) bring my camera, so I could focus on my family and Pancake(primary member of my family -let's be honest). I'll probably get a few photos this weekend, but I don't have any plans for this month? Maybe some artsy photographs of Netflix and my bed? Stay tuned???

There is nothing more precious to a Korean food deprived college student than.. Korean food obvi. My homies and I ventured off to Cambridge to eat Korean food at Koreana. The authenticity is pretty above standard level, though the taste is more typical and commercialized than the traditional signatures that I'm used. The menu includes sushi and udon too, so there are a lot of options to choose from. Personally, I would recommend any of the rice bowls, especially the Dolsot Bibimbap. I'm going home next weekend, so I am PUMPED to go to at least two of my favorite K-restaurants in Philly.

Anyways, I may or may not venture off to the Sowa market tomorrow, so an update for tomorrow is possible. I have a lot of schoolwork to do though, so who knows.. Wish me luck..

I spent Sat night at ~*Le Chateau Kumar & Hung*~ because Vicky made sushi for us. The sushi, as expected, was delicious and reminiscent of good ol' kimbab that I miss and love. Vicky and Niv's room is probably the most interesting dorm room to exist, because their bedspace is isolated from their kitchen/studying space via a small staircase.. It's really quaint and has interesting perspective. We ate, watched Veronica Mars- oh, well I fell asleep during three entire episodes basically and then Emmy and I headed home. TASTEMAKERS PRESENTS is this Sat, so if you're in the Boston area, come to Northeastern on Sat! I'll be going home the week after, so there will probably be a photo heavy post coming soon!
