walden pond and pundu

This past weekend was, simply put, magical. After spending some quaint time at my friend's hometown, I am literally counting down the minutes until I am reunited with my cats, family, and friends. We went to WALDEN POND!!!!!!!!! Walden Pond was my number one sought after location to visit whilst I was in school. I'm a huge fan of Walden by Henry David Thoreau, so of course I wanted to see this mystical haven for myself. Monday was ME's birthday, and today is Alex's. So many birthdays this past week, and ..so many tragedies. Anyways, I hope everyone was well and safe. I won't be updating until I get back home next Thursday. Till then, please stay safe.

boston

It's weird to think that a year or so ago, I chose Boston, Massachusetts to be my home for the next four years. In the wake of the recent incident, I would like to spend some time to treasure this city. I honestly can say I wasn't expecting much out of the Bean during my relatively short period time as a university student, but after today, I know that I am grateful that I live here. Two of my good friends were at the finish line thirty minutes the explosions went off, and my other friend volunteered at the hospital where dozens of victims were flocked in. I'm so thankful that all three of them are safe, but others aren't so fortunate.

Pray for Boston.
Pray for those who were affected, the families who are grieving.
Pray for this city.

On Fridays, my friends and I like to go to the Haymarket/nomad it up around Boston to buy fruits/hang out/live our lives to the fullest. Life has been pretty darn dandy lately due to the beautiful weather, but by the time we got to the market, it was cloudy and ...ya. Anyways, it was still a pretty glorious and successful day, so no complaints. Vicky and I went to Chinatown afterwards and went to this amazing Bubble Tea place! Then we went to eat pho and that was pretty gr8 too.

PENANG! missed you <3
